UTV’s in the Workplace – Fire, Rescue, Military and More

UTV’s are becoming more and more useful in the workplace. In times past they were used on ranches and farms, then they found their way into trail rides and sand sports activities and have even gone as far as racing, but they have advanced even farther now into our everyday lives.  UTV’s are being used more and more in the Fire, EMS, Rescue and Military divisions. You never know when you may be in a position to need the help and think there ma be know hope because of terrain or weather conditions.

Several new companies have turned up to help departments train and utilize UTV and ATV’s for everyday fire, rescue and emergency services.

Tom Ashmore Ent. Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business with considerable experience in the tactical community.  Owned and Operated out of the heart of Connecticut, Ashmore Ent. will teach basic operation of a unit, safe maneuvering in all types of terrain, winching, getting “un-stuck”, stabilization and unit limitations.

The Professional Association of Safe Tactical Riders works to promote safe practical riding through education and training for those professionals who operate ATV’s and UTV’s for emergency response and/or work. Operating out of Woodbury, CT, ThePASTR.org is dedicated to the safety training of getting the job done.
