WEEKEND SYNOPSIS

The 2011 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo Powered by General Tire offered the greatest collection of off-road companies, parts, equipment, gear, and experts ever assembled in America. From off-road racing to rock crawling, trail riding to sand sports, to motorcycles and ATV’s, to camping and adventure travel; everyone was well represented! With a full weekend of excitement, 60,000+ attendees and over 300 off-road vendors in one location, you were able to see everything that is going on in the dynamic world of off-road.

The crowd enjoyed features such as the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Exhibition Course, Yamaha ATV/UTV Ride and Drive, FMX Motorcycle Stunt Team, Autograph sessions with off-road celebrities including BJ Baldwin, Walker Evans, Brian Deegan and Shannon Campbell, New this year, Off Road Expo helped Mad Media premiere two independent off road films at Expo in the “Dirt Theatre” including the General Tire Mint 400 and Dezert People 9. In addition, Expo partnered with Overland Magazine to help bring you the Overland Adventure Travel Pavilion including expedition vehicles, accessories and so much more!

Off Road Expo received a ton of Broadcast media coverage this year including a 10 minute live interview with Brian Deegan on KROQ – LA’s top radio morning show, “Kevin & Bean,” live shots on site at the fairgrounds with KTTV FOX 9 Morning News and KTLA (CW Affiliate) Weekend News. KABC (ABC Affiliate) also packaged a story that ran on Friday to kick start the event. Expo also dominated the web and “blogosphere” with coverage on all major off road websites.
