WOLVERINE ACTION ALERT

| March 18, 2013

USFWS is hosting a Public Information Session and a Public Hearing for wolverine in Lakewood,
Colorado.

When: March 19th, 2013. The Public Information Session will occur from 2 pm to 5 pm, and
the Public Hearing will occur from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Where: The Hampton Inn, 137 Union Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80228

Why Attend: Areas in Colorado possibly impacted in the wolverine process are mapped below

Issues- The modeled habitat area overlaps many great riding areas. Best available science
concludes that dispersed motorized recreation has little impact on the Wolverine, which will
not sit well with many wildlife advocates. We need to make sure the Fish and Wildlife Service is
aware of this recreational usage and economic contributions of the habitat area. The FWS
should be making planning decisions based on best available science and economics, rather
than pressure from misinformed wildlife advocates.
