While at the Polaris RZR XP media event in January, I talked to one of the engineers about cooling challenges for the RANGER RZR XP. He pointed out a few key changes made to the XP that help it stay cool.

If you look at the front of a RZR XP vs. RZR S you will notice a few differences.

1. The grill on the XP does not have “RZR” in it.

2. The plastic area in front of the radiator is opened up more on the XP.

3. The plastic extends out further up front.

The engineer said that these changes were essential is making the airflow right for proper cooling.

So if you own a RZR XP and are looking into a new front bumper or grill insert, be very careful. It is essential to keep the area in front of the radiator unobstructed.
