Wheelers4Warriors Seeks Nominations For Next Vehicle Build – Non-Profit to Rebuild or Modify A Wounded Warrior’s Project Vehicle

| August 24, 2012

W4W(SCOTTSDALE, Az., August 2012) – Wheelers4Warriors (W4W), a non-profit organization that rebuilds or modifies a wounded warrior’s project vehicle, is seeking nominations for their next project vehicle build. Nominations will be accepted through September 15, 2012 and a winner will be selected on September 20, 2012. Nominations can be submitted by completing an online form on W4W website: www.Wheelers4Warriors.org.

Anyone can nominate a wounded warrior who has a vehicle (off-road or not, jeep, sedan, or sports car) that needs to be rebuilt or modified in order to get it back on the road. “W4W will accept nominees no matter the condition of the vehicle or the extent of the person’s injuries,” said Emily Casarona, Executive Director of Wheelers4Warriors. “We’re thrilled to work with our volunteers in the automobile aftermarket community who come together and use their talents to provide the possibility of helping our wounded service members get back behind the wheel.”

This is the second vehicle build for W4W. A 2002 Jeep TJ Wrangler was rebuilt for SPC Michael Brewer, who was wounded while on duty in Afghanistan in 2010. Many sponsors were involved in helping to rebuild SPC Brewer’s vehicle – by way of donating parts, personal time, money and transportation to the various garages involved. “So many people want to give back to those who gave, but aren’t sure how. Our staff, volunteers and sponsors are able to ‘literally’ get their hands dirty and help make a big difference,” stated Casarona.

Nominations may be submitted by filling out the online form located on the W4W website: www.Wheelers4Warriors.org by September 15, 2012.
