UTV Rally – Moab, Utah
I brought our 2008 Kawasaki Teryx for the trip to Moab. I had recently installed a Warn XT 40 winch up front, and also a set of Fox 2.0 RC2 triple adjustable shocks with some progressive springs from King Springs so I was anxious to try out a few new toys on the trails around Moab.
I hooked up with two other Kawasaki Teryx owners for all of the rides at the UTV Rally – Reid and his son Trevor in a 2009 Teryx Sport and Dean in his red 2008 Teryx. We went on organized UTV Rally trails each day except Saturday.
Wednesday – Cliffhanger:
Cliffhanger is west of Moab and starts off of Kane Creek Road. Cliffhanger ends at a sheer cliff above the Colorado River that has some spectacular views.
Cliffhanger is rated as a 6 by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers.

Saturday – Hell’s Revenge:
Hell’s Revenge Trail is on the northeast side of town just off of Sand Flats Road. There is a fee of $5 per vehicle to enter.
Hell’s Revenge Trail is almost continuous slick rock with just a bit of blow sand mixed in. There are also rock ledges, broken rock and sandy dirt. Most of the tough obstacles have bypasses.
Lots of Jeep & Hummer tours bring tourists out on this trail so it is a good idea to start early if you are going on a weekend.
In a few places, the trail crosses the Slickrock Bike Trail.
Hell’s Revenge is rated as a 6 by the Red Rock 4 Wheelers.
