Excel Blackwidow Tire

Walnut, CA – December 10, 2009 — Excel Tire & Wheel’s popular Blackwidow tire features a new spin as the range of sizes and applications have been expanded to include Utility ATVs and popular side-by-sides such as the Yamaha Rhino, Kawasaki Teryx and Polaris RZR. Regardless of the application, the deep lug design should keep any Blackwidow-equipped vehicle crawling through the worst conditions.

The widely spaced and very aggressive lugs provide excellent self-cleaning characteristics to keep the mud from packing up, always offering the ultimate in traction for Utility, 2WD and/or 4WD applications. Despite the overly aggressive tread pattern, the overlapping centerline bar actually works to provide a smoother ride and improved handling characteristics when on the hardpack.

Although it looks like an ominous heavyweight, the Blackwidow is literally a lightweight… well, in the weight department that is. In fact the 27x11R14 version weighs in well under 33 pounds! Less weight means that much more power to put to the ground — always a good thing. These weight savings come from the combination of a durable 6-ply casing and a premium natural rubber compound. This makes for extra puncture resistance and extended tread wear. The Blackwidow tires are now available in a full range of sizes, from 22-inches up through 27-inches, from your local dealer.
