Event 1: SPEEDWORLD SHORT COURSE SERIES & SPEEDWORLD DESERT SERIES

Date: February 13 & 14, 2010

Description: The 2010 Whiplash short course point series and the 2010 desert series kicks off in Surprise, Arizona on Valentines Day weekend. Whiplash is very excited to bring to our racers a separate Short Course and Desert Series in 2010. We are able to do this by utilizing the greatest short course tracks in Arizona at Speedworld and Firebird. Both courses will run on and pre-empt the Lucas Oil Off-Road series and allow its participants quality practice time under racing conditions. On race weekends the Saturday events will be short course only. We will only run on the short course tracks. Then on Sundays we will run on the short course tracks and include a desert section for the desert racers. The desert section will be very rough. If you want to run on both days you can.

This is a very exciting new format that will allow for both desert and short course events on the same weekend. Short cours races will consist of two heats. Desert grand prix races will be timed. All classes are welcome! See attached course map. (Not to scale)
