Cleator-Bumble Bee UTV Trail

This moderate 24 mile UTV loop trail leads you through Black Canyon, aptly named for the large black rock formations, North to Cleator and then South through Bumble Bee.
The trail started with an easy 2 mile stretch of dirt road then led off road about 8 miles through Black Canyon to Cleator. The narrow and rocky trail through the canyon was lined with sites of working and non working Gold and Copper mines making it great for exploring and fantastic photo opportunities. The trail also meanders through several picturesque stream crossings on the way to Cleator. Once in Cleator (population of approx. 7 people and there is a local Bar) it is an easy 13 mile dirt road that goes through the town of Bumble Bee and ends at the start. Overall this trail had it all, technical rock climbs, stream crossings and wide open throttle dirt roads.
