Be very aware of your actions out there this summer! The Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center (CSERC) has launched an initiative to document OHV and grazing abuses on the Stanislaus National Forest this summer. Translated, this means that anti-access zealots will be out in earnest spying and taking picture of you and your friends while you are enjoying our national forests. Just make sure you stay on designated trails, and follow the “Tread Lightly!” guidelines. If you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner, please do not confront anyone, but write down any details and report it to the Forest Service officials and send a copy to me so I can document these abuses. |
