Speed Technologies Hits Favorite Arizona Track

RENO, NV – SEPTEMBER 22, 2010: John Harrah and Jeff Ward are prepared to take on the Speedworld Off Road Park in Surprise, AZ for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Round 11 and 12 this weekend. “The Speedworld track has always been one of my favorite tracks to race on,” commented John Harrah, “the track is fast, and the crowds are great.”

Both Jeff Ward’s Pro 2 Unlimited and John Harrah’s Pro 4 Unlimited trucks are new for this season and have been getting fine tuned with each race. This is the first race where both drivers feel they have had adequate testing time before the race to really feel comfortable in the truck. “The truck felt really good in practice,” said Jeff Ward. “I feel confident that we have a solid chance to get on the podium.”

After Rounds 9 and 10 under the lights at Glen Helen Raceway in August, Jeff Ward sits 10^th in the Pro 2 Unlimited class, and John Harrah is currently 10^th in Pro 4 Unlimited class. Chuck Dempsey is still recovering and will not be competing in the Pro 2 Unlimited class for round 11 and 12.

Speed Technology SuperLite driver Dawson Kirchner, sitting 5^th in overall points, is pressing hard to get onto the podium while in Arizona. In the Modified Karts Class, Speed Technologies driver Mitchell DeJong is in first place with a substantial points lead. Wyatt Kirchner is looking forward to competing in the Modified Karts Class for Speed Technologies and battling towards the front of the pack.
