Yoshimura and Borich Win Again at Titan GNCC

Chino, Calif. – September 27, 2010 – Yoshimura Suzuki rider Chris Borich took an exciting victory at round 11 of the 2010 GNCC Championship in Lafayette, Tennessee. With the victory, his ninth of the season, Borich is that much closer to taking home his second consecutive GNCC title.

After an early mistake forced Borich to come in for a 30-second penalty, the Suzuki-mounted rider joined the race in fourth place and used all of the Yoshimura power he could to set off after the leaders. As the race wore on, Borich fought his way into second place with the leader in his sights. From there, a battle for first place broke out and lasted until the final lap, when Borich capitalized on his rival’s mistake to take the lead. Borich held on for his ninth win of the season, crossing the line just seconds ahead of his competitor.

“The race went pretty good,” said Borich afterwards. “The Yoshimura power has been awesome and I really think I have the strongest bike out there. I can’t thank the guys at Yoshimura enough. Hopefully, I’ll be able to wrap up the title at the next round!”

The series heads to St. Clairsville, Ohio for round 12 of the 2010 GNCC series on October 9-10, where Borich and his Yoshimura Suzuki QuadRacer R450 will look to land on the top step of the podium once again.
