Recently crowned Enduro E3 World Champion David Knight has confirmed he will once again be participating in the 2010 RHL Weston Beach Race.

Knight has been regularly contested the Weston-Super-Mare event over the years, winning for the first time more than ten years ago in 1999 before going on to win on a further three occasions.

A renowned all-round racer, the Manxman is now looking to make it five wins on a bike that is being specially built for the event by KTM.

“Once again I’m looking forward to competing at the Weston, it’s an event that challenges both man and machine every year and one that I really like to compete in,” he said. “I’ve won it four times, three times solo and once on a quad. The one thing on my mind this year is winning it again but luck certainly plays its part as if I’ve not won it in the past I’ve always suffered with a bike problem.

“This year KTM are building me a new bike for the Weston and I’m really looking forward to it as it’s one of the few chances I get to ride in front of a British crowd at a well established event and amongst some of the top MX riders from around the world.

“I’m definitely well up for it this year especially now that I have managed to wrap the world championship up, I’ll be 100 per cent focused on it and hoping luck will be on my side also.”
