Roger Norman Will Start First and Iron Man the 2010 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000

RENO, NV NOVEMBER 17, 2010 – Roger Norman’s Crystal Bay Casino #8 Trophy Truck will be the first truck to take the green flag of the 43rd 2010 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. “I am ready and I am excited,” said Roger Norman confidently. Roger Norman will remain the driver the entire 1063 miles, “I feel that this is the best opportunity that I would have in my life to Iron Man a race and win. You just can’t turn down an opportunity like that.”
The Norman Motorsports team has been flawless in pre-running efforts investing over 6,000 miles and 20 days throwing everything aside and putting optimum performance as the top priority. “This is an amazing race with every type of terrain,” said co-driver Lance Clifford. “Roger is a very strong driver and I feel we will be solid come race day.”
The 43rd Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 will start on Thursday November 18th around 11:45am. Roger Norman will take the first green flag, with trucks starting every :30 seconds thereafter. Majority of the race will be run during night, with the finish in La Paz on Friday morning.
The efforts of running a race as prestigious as the Baja 1000 requires dedication from the whole team. Norman Motorsports will be successful with an all volunteer team that has an amazing responsibility, and will flawlessly execute pit stops to keep the team on pace.
