UTV Weekly Rolls into 2011
As 2010 comes to a beautiful close, I am sitting in the middle of the desert staring out my window at the sand moving across the dunes and handful of RZR’s, Rhinos and Teryx’s running around. Wow! How far the UTV Industry has come in the last couple of years…and now to launch into another grand year ~ 2011.
Many people write their own resolutions. Well, we at UTV Weekly wrote some resolutions ourselves. We sat down looked at the website and said “Ya know, this site is certainly the place to get all of the news!” We need to give Jon Crowley a special thanks for that! He digs, prowls and works at getting information to share! We looked at some of the feature articles, and there wasn’t as much diversity as we had hoped from the start, well that was my fault. My attention got diverted half way through the year, and I lost track of the stories. We started to produce hour TV shows, that showed a lot of potential, and we are looking forward to expanding on them. But what is the ticket? What do we need to do and change for this year?
I have been really lucky to be a part of the Powersports Industry since 1994 on the Dealership side and since 2007 on the Media side. I have seen the whole UTV industry start, grow, explode and then settle back a little in the last year. I believe that it is one of the greatest growth markets in the Powersports Category and there are a lot of companies that want to share their products with drivers. Communication is the key to everyones success!
Our #1 Resolution in 2011 is increased Communication ~ What a better tool than a news site ~ which is what UTV Weekly is ~ Now to add a few more outlet options to the list.
The Daily Posts will continue, with increased stories from the road, and hopefully more Reader Submitted pictures, videos and stories. Did you know you can get an RSS Feed that sends you a email with all days posts? https://utvweekly.com/index.php/feed/
We will add a Weekly Newsletter that will highlight the weeks posts and some special opportunities for our core readers. We also want to highlight YOU on the Newsletter! https://utvweekly.com/index.php/sign-up-for-our-newsletter/
We will produce a quarterly TV Show that will take you into shops, on trail rides and around our daily lives. There may even be a couple special episodes!
And the last of our Resolutions I am going to string you along for a little while…it is something so new and innovative, yet something so normal and expected that you will hardly be able to wait to see another one! It is exciting for all of us here at UTV Weekly and we are working hard to launch this for YOU!
We encourage you to send us your Pictures, Videos and Stories to share! A simple paragraph and your photos go a long way! Never hesitate to email us at submit@utvweekly.com

As I look back at the last three years working in UTV Media I have met a lot of great people. Companies that have worked hard to bring the right product to market. Enthusiasts that love to ride and explore. Writers and Photographers that work hard to bring you great stories. I look forward to renewing some acquantences and developing more friendships this year as we work to increase the communication channels!
Never hesitate to email us! We want to hear from you! We want to post your pictures, your videos and your stories! We like to read about your adventures as much, or more, that we like to go on our own!
So, I am getting pulled out of the trailer right now to gear up and go on a ride! It is going to be a great year and I look forward to spending more time with you here on UTV Weekly!
