THE POWERSPORT INSTITUTE SHOWCASES TECHNICIAN TRAINING, CAREER PLACEMENT SERVICES AT DEALER EXPO
NORTH RANDALL, Ohio – Industry-leading technician training school the PowerSport Institute (PSI) will showcase its hands-on training programs and career placement services at the upcoming Dealer Expo, Feb. 18-20, 2011, in Indianapolis, Ind.
PSI, which annually trains 300 students as well as factory technicians to service top powersports brands including Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat, Harley-Davidson, Victory and S&S, is focused on developing successful technicians who graduate with the skills and efficiency needed to work in today’s demanding service environments. In addition to classroom and hands-on technical training, PSI students train in the school’s mock shop settings that teach service environment technician functions, like working with service managers, repair orders, securing parts and handling customer service complaints.
In addition to training, PSI has made career placement a top priority at the school. Employment Services Director Kira Daczko will be onsite at the Dealer Expo to discuss the school’s free Employment Services Benefits program. Interested manufacturers and dealers can meet with Daczko to submit basic information that will allow PSI to fill future job openings for technicians, parts laborers, service writers and more as the industry enters the busy spring season.
