American Family Insurance presents the Spring Home & Garden Show at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, this Friday through Sunday, March 25-27, 2011. The Spring Home & Garden Show is one of four big shows that also includes the Reno Outdoor Sports & Recreation Expo, the Reno Off-Road Motorsports Expo and the Reno Pet Show. For a flat $10 attendees can visit all four shows.
Bring your friends, family and all your stuff to be a part of the Dr. Lori show. A Ph.D. Antiques Appraiser and part comedian, Dr. Lori, will give FREE appraisals of your antiques. She is honest, accurate and hilarious! Dr. Lori will make you laugh, even if your prized possession turns out to be trash. Dr. Lori is a nationally syndicated columnist, award winning TV personality, Talk Show host and part standup comedian with a Ph.D. in art history. Plan on relaxing and listening to the velvety smooth voice of country singer Joseph Greco and his tribute to country legends, Marty Robbins and Jim Reeves. Greco will also be hosting a Casting Call for Johnny Cash impersonators to perform in an upcoming “Tribute to the Legends” show in Carson City this Spring. “The Reno Spring Home & Garden Show allows local business owners to exhibit and show their home improvement and landscaping solutions,” said show producer Al Lockett, “there are vendors that do complete remodels to basic interior designs. Really anything to help create the home of your dreams is at this show.” The show will showcase windows, floor coverings, wall treatments, interior decorating, home security, spas, closet organizers, patios and sunrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, landscaping products from plants to pavers, decks, green products, solar, contractors, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, cabinetry, and even grout products, not to mention great travel ideas, pets and pet products and local utilities.

The four show event will also feature Tommi Ahvala, a 2-time World Trials Motorcycle Champion, who will perform multiple times each day during the show. Splash Dog teams make waves with the fine art of dock jumping and dock diving, be sure to bring your dog to give it a try. Bass Tubs of Oklahoma will have their 40 foot mobile aquarium to give fishing demonstrations on bass fishing techniques and the Reno Pet Show brings the Pug Parade on Sunday, March 27th at 2 p.m.; pug owners are encouraged to register early and enter their best friend online at www.Lockettshows.com.
