Auto Meter announces Scott Crerar as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for their Electrical System Diagnostic and Maintenance Equipment Business

Auto Meter Products, Inc., is pleased to announce Scott Crerar as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Electrical System Diagnostic and Maintenance Equipment Business. Auto Meter President and CEO, Jeff King stated, “Scott has distinguished himself during the four and one half years that he has been at Auto Meter. During this time he has progressed from Territory Sales, to Director of National Accounts, and now to the Vice President level. Scott has been instrumental in helping secure the growth that we have enjoyed in our Electrical System Diagnostic and Maintenance Equipment business. I am confident that in this new role, Scott will continue to deliver growth oppurtunities for our company.” Scott currently also holds the position of Director of Sales for Auto Meter’s Pro-Cycle group, a division of the company dedicated to the creation of performance motorcycle instrumentation.

Mr. Crerar hails originally from Binghamton, NY and currently calls the midwest home, residing in St. Charles, IL not far from Auto Meter’s World Headquarters located in Sycamore. Scott’s extensive knowledge and expertise in the electrical system diagnostic and maintenance equipment business is founded on experience developed over the course of a storied career. He honed his sales acumen and sense for strategic business operations from an early age where he worked as dealership mechanic and as a parts store Ouside Salesman. Hard work coupled with determination propeled him into sales management positions at Exide, Johnson Controls, and Genuine Parts Company. Most recently before joining the team at Auto Meter, Mr. Crerar worked as a Contract Consultant for Tradetec Skyline providing key organizational and sales relationship insights. In the few spare moments Scott finds outside of the office, you may find him enjoying time with wife Judith and daughters Ashley and Michelle, working / cruising on his custom Harley, or perfecting his swing on the links.
