Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs To Be Featured On Trucks! TV Show July 9-10, 2011

The popular PowerBlock TV show “Trucks!” will feature a Firestone Industrial Products’ Ride-Rite(tm) installation during its upcoming episodes July 9 and 10, 2011 on Spike TV.

“Trucks!” hosts Kevin Tetz and Ryan Shand installed a no-drill Ride-Rite air helper springs kit on a 2011 Ford F-350 Super Duty that is used throughout the PowerBlock’s sister series, “Search & Restore.” As part of the series, the F-350 travels the country hauling a tri-axle enclosed trailer to pick up vehicles in need of restoration and repair from deserving citizens.

Firestone’s Ride-Rite kits, which mount between the truck’s frame and suspension, use air pressure to maximize the truck’s safe load carrying capacity, vehicle stability and braking effectiveness. By varying the air pressure in the Ride-Rite springs, the “Search & Restore” crew can keep their F-350 level and maintain its ride quality while transporting a heavy vehicle load.

“Trucks!” also showcases the installation of Firestone’s Wireless Air Command air accessory system, which provides an instant air source that lets users easily adjust the Ride-Rite air springs both side-to-side and front-to-rear to maintain ride quality during varying load capacities and road conditions. Plus, the system features three preset buttons so drivers can store their most frequently used air pressure settings.
