H&M Motorsports sweep FNL Fall ATV Series Round 1

H&M’s David Haagsma & Chase Thomas swept round 1 last Saturday night at Milestone MX at the opener for the FNL ATV series presented by Triumph Motorsports. David took the holeshot in Moto 1, but shortly made a mistake and let Jason Fife by early. On lap 3, Haagsma worked his way back up, re-took the lead and checked out where he would finish when the checkers flew. In Moto 2, it was Motoworks/Can-AM’s Dillon Zimmerman who would pull the holeshot, but no long before Davi put pressure on him and was able to take over the lead. Haagmsa hung on with ease to take a 1-1 score and win round 1 of the series.

In the Pro-Am class, H&M Motorsport’s Chase Thomas came out riding David’s practice bike and would work his way from a bad start all the way to 2nd place where he finished close in Moto 1. Chase came out in Moto 2 a lot more comfortable and it showed as he was second going into turn one and took over the lead and checked out on Haagsma’s practice bike taking the win and the overall for the night with 2-1 finishes.
