BOLT Lock FamilyMILWAUKEE, Wis. – STRATTEC® Security Corporation, a leading automotive lock and key manufacturer, announces its BOLT® Locks will be featured on the popular PowerBlock TV show “Trucks!” on April 7-8, 2012 on Spike TV.

“Trucks!” hosts Kevin Tetz and Ryan Shand will utilize the BOLT Locks during a Jeep Wrangler Off-Road Upgrade episode airing at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Featuring STRATTEC’s patented Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, the BOLT Locks permanently program to the specific vehicle’s ignition key, eliminating the need for multiple keys. Here’s how the technology works: When drivers insert their ignition key into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to only that key. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position. When the key is turned again, it will rotate to the unlocked position.

BOLT Locks are available as padlocks, cable locks, receiver locks, spare tire locks and toolbox latch locks. For more information, visit www.boltlock.com.
