Another Win For Team Yukon And Murphy’s Law Motorsports At Rausch Creek Off Road Park
Lucas Murphy, driver of the Murphy’s Law Motorsport 816 Racer with Co-driver Jon Hastie at his side, take first place by over 20 minutes at the RCrocs Ultra4 style race series event at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Tremont, PA.
The team started second off the line next to veteran rock crawler and racer Lou Levy. In under a mile the team was physically in first place. Three miles into their second lap, the team broke the centering tab in their front pinion yoke which resulted in losing their front drive shaft.
For most this would be a tremendous setback, but not Murphy’s Law Motorsports. They had all the parts in the racecar to make the repair and finished their second lap only 13 min off the pace of their first lap. The team reclaimed the physical lead on the third lap and never let up till they took the checkered flag.
The team will be back at Rausch Creek this weekend to compete in the King of the Hammers Rausch Creek Qualifier for the forth straight year. The team is once again in the hunt for a starting position at next years King Of the Hammers, missing the qualifying cutoff at KOH 2012 by only three positions.
