New Product – Aluminum Swing Down Tire Carrier – This is the hand TIG welded Aluminum version of the GenRight “Swing Down” rear tire carrier that we have used on many of the GenRight Jeeps for years. We call it the Boulder Series Tire Carrier. We improved on an old design by adding additional tubes in key areas of the carrier “cage” to stiffen it. GenRight Off-Road Participates in Lobby Days – In April, Tony had the opportunity to travel to the state capital in Sacramento and meet with our legislators to discuss the issues facing the off-road community. We’re proud to report that the trip was a success! There were a few important things that we thought that we would pass along. The Legislators like to hear from you. Take the time to make a phone call or send an email about issues that concern you. The more people that voice their opinion the more they can do about it. Also, it’s important to belong to groups like CORVA because it is very powerful when they can meet with the legislators and say that they represent large groups of people. What started it ALL – Here’s a look at a project that Tony built to fuel his desire for design and innovation. Tony built this RC car 27 years ago! It’s 4 wheel drive and everything is hand machined from 7075 Aluminum alloy. It features an engine that was built by Ron Paris (famous R/C car engine builder) that makes 3 horsepower designed to run at 36,000 rpm and runs on 30% Nitro. That is a better power to weight ratio than a top fuel dragster! To scale is has 30″ of wheel travel and a top speed of 80MPH.
