Trail PAC – Fight Back Against Big Green
May is a very busy month for the OHV community as we attend events, camp with the family, or ride with our friends. As the election cycle starts to heat up this summer, TPAC is asking trail-voters to help us fight the Green PACs by making a donation today. These green PACs are already attacking our pro-trail candidates in states such as VA.
Craig Manson, the former Assistant Secretary for Fish, Wildlife, and Parks in the U.S. Department of the Interior who has endorsed TPAC said, “As one who has served as a land management executive policymaker at the highest levels of federal and state governments, I can’t stress enough the importance of recreation interests to get involved in the political process.”
“Federal resource departments must carry out the land-use directives from the White House while answering to Congress that creates laws, has budget authority, and oversight responsibilities. It is critically important for recreational interests to support those politicians who champion a responsible land-ethic that includes managed OHV use on public lands,” Manson concludes.
TPAC’s Key Issue Areas in the 2012 Elections:
OHV Use in General
Roadless Areas
Special Recreation Permits
Travel Management Rule
EPA/ESA Reform
EAJA/Tort Reform
National Monument Designations Created by Executive Orders
If you agree with Secretary Craig Manson, please make a donation today and help TPAC fight “Big Green” and elect pro-trail candidates in the 2012 election cycle.
