NASCAR K&N Pro Series East
LaJoie Claims First K&N Series East Victory at the Madhouse WINSTON SALEM, NC (June 2, 2012) —Third generation racer Corey LaJoie captured his much-anticipated first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East victory in the NASCAR Hall of Fame 150 at historic Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, NC. LaJoie powered the Eibach Springs equipped No. 07 Thermal Control Products/Sims Metal Ford to the lead on the event’s first lap, but pole-sitter Kyle Larson wrestled it away the next circuit and LaJoie ran second through the first quarter of the race. The 20-year-old regained the lead on Lap 37 and held on through the balance of the event that included eight more restarts for his first trip to Victory Lane. LaJoie jumped from fifth to second in the standings with his performance on Saturday, June 2, just 16 tallies from the lead. LaJoie’s victory also marked the first by a Ford in the series, dominated in the last decade by Chevrolet and more recently Toyota, in nearly seven years.

Northern LateModel Racing Association (NLRA)
Weiss Nabs NLRA Victory at Jamestown JAMESTOWN, ND (June 9, 2012) — Reigning series champion Ricky Weiss of Winnipeg, Manitoba, earned $1,200 at the Jamestown Speedway in Jamestown, North Dakota for his third victory of the season and first of 2012 on the NLRA tour. Weiss, notching his eighth career NLRA victory in his Eibach Springs equipped number seven Victory Circle Chassis, took the checkers ahead of Brad Seng and Dustin Strand.

China Touring Car Championship (CTCC)
Dramatic Win for Han Han in CTCC Super Production Class ZHUHAI, CHINA (June 3, 2012) – Han Han of Shanghai VW 333 Racing took a dramatic win in the second round of CTCC at the Zhuhai International Circuit. Although Han Han had secured the pole position in his Eibach Springs adorned Volkswagen Polo, he was forced to start sixteenth on the grid as a result of a penalty for failing to change tires before the start of the formation lap. Han Han made quick progress from the start, and was up to second place by lap five. Han Han fought passed race leader Rainey He on lap nine and managed to build a convincing lead, taking his first victory of 2012 and the first for Shanghai VW 333 Racing this year. Ford drivers Rainey He and Jiang Tengyi finished second and third.

Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM)
Mortara Delivers First Victory for Audi AF DTM SPIELBERG, AUSTRIA (June 2, 2012) – After starting from the pole position, the Edoardo Mortara won the fourth round of the 2012 DTM at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Despite a less than perfect start, Edoardo Mortara in his Eibach Springs adorned Playboy Audi A5 DTM entered turn one as the race leader and controlled the pace at the front of the field throughout the entire 47 laps. After the second mandatory pit stop, Mortara had to fend off attacks by leader of the standings Gary Paffett (Mercedes-Benz) and Martin Tomczyk (BMW), which involved a number of fierce duels. Mortara kept his cool in both attacks and managed to work out a small cushion again before ultimately crossing the finish line as the winner with a 1.068-second advantage.

MARS DIRTcar Series
Babb Denies Moyer at I-55 to End Season Long Drought PEVELY, MO (June 2, 2012) — Polesitter Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Illinois outdueled Jesse Stovall throughout the MARS DIRTcar Series feature at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri and held off a late charge from Billy Moyer to earn his first victory of 2012. Series point’s leader Stovall started alongside Babb on the front row and challenged for the lead for the majority of the race. Stovall’s low-running Eibach Springs adorned Late Model pulled alongside Babb numerous times, but was never able to complete the pass. Stovall’s bid for the win ended with four laps remaining when contact between him and Babb caused his car to spin at the exit of turn two. Babb, who entered the race riding his longest winless drought to start a season in more than a decade, earned $5,000 for his fourth career victory on the MARS tour. With Moyer’s runner-up finish, Eibach Springs equipped Late Models captured the top two positions on the podium.

United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS)
Eibach Springs Drivers Sweep USMTS Action for Second Consecutive Weekend BEAVER, OK (June 10, 2012) – A little hard work and a little hard luck for his competition was all that Rodney Sanders needed to put himself in the winner’s circle as the USMTS Casey’s Cup Series invaded the Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, OK. Sanders’ night had a rough start when mechanical issues forced him out of his heat race. Living up to his name, ‘The Rocket’ blasted through the field after starting last and won the last-chance race, putting him 14th on the grid for the 35-lap A Main. Three laps into the feature race, Sanders was up to eighth but contact with another car resulted in a flat tire. He rushed into the pits where the crew swapped the bad rubber for good, and then rejoined the 24-car field in last place. With seven laps to go, the Eibach Springs equipped modified wheeled by Randy Timms inherited the lead. Two laps later, the Eibach Springs sponsored No. 20 blasted by on the outside and then powered away the final four laps to claim the $2,000 top prize. It was the second USMTS Casey’s Cup Series victory of the 2012 campaign for Sanders, and his 13th top-10 finish in 13 starts. Eibach Springs Heat Race Winner: Bryan Rowland

In a reversal of Friday night’s feature race, Timms raced out to an early lead and then held on to claim the USMTS Casey’s Cup Series victory at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, Saturday night. Timms held off series point’s leader and local favorite Sanders of Happy, Texas, to capture the $2,000 win and his fourth career USMTS triumph. Despite starting seventh, Timms took control of the main event from Jeremy Gossett Saturday night with three laps in the books. Sanders chased Timms throughout the 35-lapper, but Timms remained in charge through five cautions over the final 32 circuits. Minnesota’s Mike Steensma brought home a third-place paycheck with New Mexico’s Johnny Scott in tow, making the top four an Eibach Springs sweep. Eibach Springs Heat Race Winner: Nathan Bichsel

In the final stop of the USMTS triple header, Johnny Scott captured the 35-lap main event as the USMTS Casey’s Cup Series made their first visit to the Beaver County Raceway in Beaver, OK. Scott, who started sixth, raced by Chris Theodore on lap 3 to grab the lead, but Theodore fought back and regained the top spot with nine laps complete. One lap later, Scott got the top spot back and set sail. Midway through the race, Sanders came up from his 20th starting spot to challenge Scott but slid off the embankment and suffered a flat tire. Scott went unchallenged the rest of the way to collect the $2,000 winner’s share of the prize money. Timms claimed the runner-up spot, while Steensma finished fourth. COMP Cams Super Dirt Series
Moyer Jr. Wins $2,000 at Northeast Arkansas HARRISBURG, AR (June 9, 2012) – Billy Moyer Jr. continued his recent hot streak by piloting his Eibach Springs adorned No. 21jr Late Model to a $2,000 triumph on the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series tour at the Northeast Arkansas Speedway. Moyer shot to the lead on a lap nine restart and led the rest of the way to the checkers for his third victory of 2012. Moyer notched his ninth career series victory to move into second place on the all-time series list behind Wendell Wallace.

MX Nationals
Two More Podiums for Red Bull KTM at Freestone Motocross Nationals WORTHAM, TX (May 27, 2012) – Red Bull/KTM Factory riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen came away from the second round of the MC Nationals at Freestone in Texas with second and third placed podium finish. Dungey rocketed his Eibach Springs equipped KTM 450 SX-F off the line at the start of the first moto to round the first corner in third. Dungey then quickly moved around second place on the second lap to tuck behind leader James Stewart. Dungey stayed within a bike’s length of Stewart before he encountered back marker traffic on the final lap. In the second moto, Dungey quickly jumped into the runner-up position at the first corner behind Stewart. While Stewart stayed in the lead, Dungey’s runner-up effort secured second overall in the points after two rounds of competition.

Roczen’s KTM 250 SX-F was sharp out of the start gates in the opening moto, as he managed to secure third by the first corner, a position he maintained throughout the race. Roczen finished within the top five in the second moto, and his third and fourth place results earned him third overall for the day.
