Full Flex Offroad’s Racing Season To Date

FFO1 Thanks to our sponsors, Full Flex Offroad’s rookie season has been lucrative and fun. We have travelled to several events and competitions to test our skills, the Jeeps durability, and to promote our sponsors!

We started off in February at the King of the Hammers “Everyman Challenge”. Just arriving on the starting line was an accomplishment and couldn’t be done without all of our sponsors.

We rushed to get the SCAR Offroad Jeep done in time and our shake down was on the lake-bed the night before the race, but, it all worked out and we were able to finish humbly in 9th place.

Our next event was scheduled for mid March, but was unfortunately postponed due to a land dispute…updates to follow.

In May we attended the CalROCS season opener in Browns Valley, CA. It was hot during the day and busy in the pits at night. The power steering box on our TJ declared it was pissed and needed to be replaced. We managed to finish the first day of competition with the help of Relentless Motorsports pit crew (AKA Full Flex Offroad’s northern chapter) A little “solo red cup” and duct tape prevented excess fluid from leaking onto the course so we could continue until the parts in town arrived.

In June we are attending the Off Road Truck Show at the 4Wheel Parts headquarters in Compton, CA. The sponsor banners will be flying and we will be talking about various products and services.

July brings the Glen Helen Ultra4 Grand Prix (July 16th)….it’s close to home and should be a blast. High speed short course style racing and a big bonfire at the end of the night!

In other news, our 2012 DVD ‘Dirtwork’ will be finished by the end of summer time….we hope to present it at our booth in the Pomona Off Road Expo (October 7th-10th)…come celebrate with us!
