PAC Racing Springs To Invade Crandon Over June 14th Weekend

PACCrandon1 (06/04/2012) PAC RACING SPRINGS is set to invade the Crandon, Wisconsin TORC Race on June 14th weekend, with several Ultra 4 series past champions and West Coast Pro-2 Short Course Racer Nick Tyree.

PAC Racing Springs, based in Detroit Mi, is the Racing and Aftermarket Division of the Peterson Spring Company. With more than 11 divisions around the world, Peterson Spring is the largest privately held family owned Spring Company in the USA. With nearly 100 years of operation, we proudly manufacture all the Racing and Aftermarket components in Detroit Michigan.

2012 continues to be an explosive year for PAC Racing Springs in Off Road! Through our travels and expanding relationships we have acquired some great racers that have allowed us to test, abuse, and develop our off road products to exceed the rigors of Off Road Racing. Here is a list of racers that will be competing at Crandon. Jason will be in attendance to support the racing and answer any questions about our products. Mike Colville #4418 Ultra 4 Racer (pictured above) – Repeated King of the Hammers KOH Finishes and already qualified for the 2013 Hammers event, 2011 East Coast TREC Series Champion, and PAC Racing Springs Sponsored. Mike and Motorcity Machines is at the forefront of our development cycle, Mike being a Vehicle Development Engineer based at the GM Proving Grounds, he has been an in-valuable resource to test and validate our products. Erik Miller – #4421 Ultra 4 Racer, current 2012 King Of The Hammers. Erik is based out of Maryland, and campaigns several styles of vehicles from his Miller Motorsports camp. Most notability Erik and the Miller Motorsports team was crowned the 2012 King of the Hammers Champions. Erik has the true hunger, tenacity, passion, and work ethic to continue his championship runs. Erik won the 2012 King of The Hammers Race using PAC Racing Suspension Springs and Custom Sway Bars. Jason Scherer #76 – Ultra 4, Best In The Desert, TORC Racer. Jason Scherer and Team ASR are based out Danville, California. Jason is an avid off road enthusiast and is a former King of the Hammers Champion. Team ASR is continually testing the limits of the chassis and designs to exceed at all the multitude of off road events they take part in. Nick Nelson continues pushing the envelope of his Jimmy’s 4×4 (IFS) car to compete in the mixed multitude races from rock crawling, desert racing, and now short course, Nick will prove the versatility of the Jimmy’s 4×4 fabrication at the “Big House” in Crandon. Nick Tyree #91 – Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series and TORC Racer. Nick Tyree and Tyree Motorsports is a team comprised of a group of grass roots family members who are avid off road and racing enthusiasts. PAC Racing met Tyree Motorsports in 2011 at the Off Road Expo and since then forged a great partnership. It has been one of our joys to watch Nick compete, and improve on his finishes throughout the year. PAC Racing Springs is very proud to be associated with the Tyree Motorsports team and family.
