San Gabriel Canyon OHV Obstacle Course Grand Opening

| June 12, 2012

SanGabCody 1News from Mike Bishop, President of the Azusa Canyon Off-Road Association:

We are moving forward with the Grand Opening of the Obstacle Course, ASI Training Course and the Yamaha Kiddie ATV Course at the San Gabriel Canyon OHV Park on July 14th 2012.

Some of you have known me for a while, and some I have just met. We have authorization to have a vendor area during the opening and on site sales. I welcome all of you that would like to come out and be a part of this grand opening!

As a 501 c3 Non Profit we do all this through donations and grants so we need your support. We would like to have a great raffle during the opening, as well as do our best to make sure most all the kids get something to remember the day by! We would appreciate any donations or raffle items, and those are of course all tax deductible!

With help from CORVA and AXIAL we already have an event scheduled for next year!

Space is kind of limited so please let us know if you would be able to come up, and you would like to be part of the vendor area (there is no charge for the spot unless you want us to acquire you a EZ UP for you). Falken Tires is throwing in for a Hot Dog lunch (Thanks!), and many great manufactures and companies are excited about the opening, and are heading up to support this event.

We have built three courses on the site, the Obstacle Course, the ASI training center and the ATV Kiddie Course. LA County Parks and Rec, Forest Service and Yamaha funded the build(s) and Falken Tires has funded one Obstacle so far and we have room for more! EVO is next with a Articulation Ramp!

We could use all the support you can offer, and as always we figure with all of us working together we can have a fantastic opening to remember, and great events on the site(s) in the future! Please spread the word around so we can enjoy the day together! The general admission is free.

I have put a link below so you can see what we have been up to over the last year and a half (in pictures) during the build. The project has been about 11 1/2 years in the making so its a big day for us.
