Just Released: Road Trip America Photo Book
March, 4, 2013, Ontario California: Designer, Photographer, and the man behind TheGentlemanRacer.com Michael Satterfield has released his first limited edition collection of photography in a softcover book, titled Road Trip America. Featuring 64 photos from across the US. Limited to just 100 copies, each being hand numbered and signed. The book is being released under The Gentleman Racer PressTM and is the first in what will be a collection of limited edition printed media from the popular website. “We found that while most people like to read about our trips or see our stories online, there is something about holding a book or turning the pages of a magazine that just can’t be matched” said Michael. The photos were selected out of hundreds of images Michael has shot over the last five years, each image was chosen because Michael and the team felt it drew you into the photo and made you feel as if you were experiencing it first hand.
Plans also include offering limited edition prints of photos and other special edition products that will be tied into the TheGentlemanRacer.com’s stories. About Michael Satterfield:
Michael is a fourth generation Californian who’s obsession with learning things first hand has lead him on a number of adventures. By 17 he had talked his parents into letting him travel to Nicaragua and El Salvador work as a missionary, by 25 he had visited over 22 countries. From river boating in Indonesia to an 8 country road trip across Europe in a Peugeot, Michael is always wanting to see more.
