Off-Road & Motorsports Expo Hosts Benefit Auction To Raise Funds For BRC
POCATELLO, ID (March 13, 2013) – On April 5, 6 and 7, 2013, the awesome folks at the Reno Off-Road & Motorsports Expo are going to be hosting their second annual show and auction to benefit the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC). Funding drives like this one, along with many generous contributions from individual donations, are what keep BRC going in its fight to preserve your recreational access.
We’d like to ask all who can to attend this event and give generously. As the event organizers will tell you, “All of the funds raised from the Silent Auction will be used to support [BRC’s] work in both our local and national communities.”
Al Lockett of Lockett Shows (the event sponsors) explains about the benefit auction, and how it generates funds through generous merchandise contributions from businesses and individuals. “Through the combined effort of our donors, bidders and volunteers, we were able to raise $1,500 last year. We’re in the process of collecting merchandise for this year’s Silent Auction. By donating merchandise, making a contribution that will help The BlueRibbon Coalition continue its mission to represent the interests of responsible recreationists across the country.”
Del Albright, BRC Ambassador, will be at the show and adds this: “Al Lockett’s Expo is a kick in the pants with a lot of cool vendors and fun for all. Swing by the BRC booth and I’ll share with you how we’re going to ‘Turn the Tide’ in 2013.”
Participants in the auction will have a chance to walk away with some outstanding items, along with the good feeling of supporting national recreational access. We hope to see all of you there!
