BOLT ONE-KEY LOCK TECHNOLOGY TO BE FEATURED ON TRUCK U, TWO GUYS GARAGE TV SHOWS

| April 9, 2013

TruckU_Erika with BrunoMassel and MattSteeleMILWAUKEE, Wis. – STRATTEC(r) Security Corporation’s BOLT(r) Locks will be featured in three segments of Brenton Productions, Inc.’s “Truck U” and “Two Guys Garage,” airing multiple times in March, April and May on SPEED TV.

Designed to increase security and convenience, BOLT Locks feature a patented Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology that allows users to permanently program the company’s variety of locks to work with a vehicle’s ignition key, eliminating the need for multiple keys.

Hosts Bruno Massel and Matt Steel, of “Truck U,” will demonstrate the BOLT breakthrough technology on a Toyota Tundra, premiering March 30 at 8 a.m. on SPEED TV, which will be reshown multiple times in April and May.

In a separate “Truck U” segment, BOLT Locks will be shown on the Federated Auto Parts 2013 Silverado HD 2500 Service Truck, as the hosts install a Knapheide service body in the bed. This episode will premiere May 25 on SPEED TV at 8 a.m. and be reshown multiple times in May and June.

BOLT Locks will also be in an episode of Two Guys Garage airing in August with hosts Kevin Byrd and Willie B.

“Having our company involved with ‘Two Guys Garage’ and ‘Truck U’ programs will show the versatility, convenience and security we can offer to consumers,” said Sales Manager Erika Garcia, of BOLT Locks. “Our products are also perfect for service body trucks and are already successfully being used on a variety of fleets, such as Harbor Truck Bodies and Royal Truck Body.”

To use the company’s locks, drivers insert their ignition key into the BOLT lock cylinder, causing spring-loaded plate tumblers to move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key alone. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position.

All BOLT locks feature an automotive-grade lock shutter to keep out weather and debris and a six-plate tumbler sidebar that prevents picking and bumping. They are available for most General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Toyota and Nissan vehicles on the road today. For more information, visit www.boltlock.com.

“The program hosts were able to educate the audience on the benefits of using our technology,'” said Garcia. “And explain how we can make their lives easier, with only needing one key, while still adding security for their trucks and SUVs.”
