Team ITP SxS Racers Earn Three Podiums in California

Ontario, California, November 15, 2013 – Team ITP side-by-side racers competed at the 2013 Lake Elsinore Grand Prix, presented by Lucas Oil Products, and came away with three total podiums and the overall win by Sara Price in the Open 1000 UTV class.

“We had great results at the Lake Elsinore Grand Prix, notching three podiums and an overall win. Price won the Open 1000 UTV class by beating 11 other competitors and completing three laps in less than 43 minutes. Her average lap time was 12:49.361 at more than 32 mph. The victory was the first ever behind the wheel of a side-by-side vehicle for Price, who also competed in the World Off-Road Championship Series this year.

“I was so excited to Win the Elsinore GP my first race stepping into the MotoUSA XP 900,” said Price. “I just stayed focused and kept as smooth as possible on the diverse course from rocks, sand to hard pack. But my ITP Black Water tires never quit and pulled me to the finish with my first UTV win.”

ITP racers also earned podiums in two other classes, including the very competitive and popular Production Pro 1000 class. UTVunderground.com / FOX / ITP racer Cody Rahders completed three laps in a time of 36:43.208 to finish third overall out of 29 racers. Rahders and the two finishers above him were the only three racers to post average lap speeds in excess of 35 mph. In the Super Stock 570-700 ranks, Teddy Chott drove his ITP-backed rig to a third-place podium finish as well.
