WORCS Rnd 4 Crazy Horse Race info
WORCS Rnd 4 at Crazy Horse Campgrounds Powered by MAXXIS
Lake Havasu City, AZ – Rnd 4 of the 2015 WORCS series returns to Hallowed ground in Lake Havasu March 27th-29th. So many greats have come there and so many past champions started there on mini’s only to become WORCS Champions later. The track demands stamina and perfection. If you lack either she will reach up and grab you. When you leave you know you did something and take with it the promise that, you have what it takes to be called one of the “Fastest Racers On The Planet”
The Havasu Story is full of mystery and is a great example of the difficulties we run into securing race facilities. This is the behind the scenes info about how WORCS returned to this epic location. Over the last few months I got this question a lot, “I thought Havasu was out, what happend?” First, the lease with Crazy Horse and the State of AZ expired last year so we thought we were done because the State of Arizona did not want any racing on their land. Knowing this we went to work on the state the week after our 2014 event. It was a team effort between the City Of Lake Havasu, County Commissioners and WORCS that made it happen. Currently we have a two (2) year deal only and they say we must leave after that. If that is the case then WORCS plans on making the best of it. There is no better place to race for location, scenery and fun. This year our team will return to the same location for what will be the best WORCS race ever in Havasu. The parking lot is a little smaller this year so parking will be even more valuable. The whole crew is looking forward to getting set up on the shores of Lake Havasu so please come play in our sand box in Lake Havasu.
