On the Phone with Racer Jim Creagan

On The PhoneAfter taking second place in the longest race on US soil, Jim Creagan and the Bi-Polar team have already torn down the Arctic Cat Prowlers and are ready to start reassembling.  They currently have the engine out of the Prowler 1000, and will be installing a fresh one starting tomorrow.  “We could leave it in and continue to run it, but we know we are in the heat for the season win and don’t want to take an unnecessary chance.”

The Bi-Polar team didn’t have any big issues over the three day BITD Vegas to Reno the Long Way race. He is amazed that nothing did break after the torture that these vehicles took. Although they run with King Shocks, the Bi-Polar team actually runs with the factory Arctic Cat Prowler 1000 a-arms on the 1947 car.

“There is no rest for the weary if you want to be competitive with this group of UTV’s”  The next race on their schedule is the SilverState 300.  “We are very close to Jagged X in the points and are going to give them a run for their money.”  This is the first year that Bi-Polar has run this series and they think that it is great.  It is a lot of work, with not a lot of down time in between races, only about a month…then throw Baja into the middle of it and it makes it a rough year.

“Casey (Folks from BITD) is amazing, can you imagine herding cats for 3 days straight with virtually no problems?!?!  You saw Camp Adventure, it was amazing!”
