Opportunities for Volunteers on National Public Lands Day in California

| September 2, 2009 | 0 Comments

National Public Lands Day is being held on September 26, 2009 and BLM-California is celebrating this year with 13 different events throughout the state. Most the events depend on volunteers to be fully successful.

The BLM in California recruits volunteers to assist with the completion of unfunded conservation work that would otherwise go undone. The program provides individuals and community organizations an opportunity to be actively involved in the administration of public lands.
