BITD Vegas To Reno Still The Buzz

I recently spent the weekend at the Off Road Expo where I saw a lot of people that I spent time with over my Vegas to Reno experience. And quite the experience it was! With us all having showers, a few additional hours of sleep, and time to actually recollect the humor in our stories, the weekend was full of tales.

One of my stops was at the BFGoodrich booth where I got to see Mark “Sarge” Schleipfer. He is one of the main guys that helps keep the BFG big rig on the road and at the pits for driver support. Sarge was nice enough to send us some pictures from Vegas To Reno that I wanted to get posted up.

These are from a couple of different days at the BFG Pit support. BFG is a great company that fully supports desert racing and all of the racers efforts that run BFG tires.

I was at Pit 7 on day three. I got a call from the 1924 pit crew that they weren’t going to make it to the pit by the time the Teryx got there. They asked if I could find gas and pit for them. I found some gas and talked to the BFG team. They jumped right in and said no problem, we can fill the gas and do whatever we can. It was a big relief knowing that a professional pit crew was there to take the load off of me. Super cool of them to jump in and help another race team that was not signed up with them.
