On The Trail

Americas Adventure Tours is a company that will guide you on all the best UTV trails and take you on an adventure that you will remember for years to come. The trail rides will be guided by Rick “Wally” Wallace. He has a lot of experience on the trail; with a dirt bike ride across America and 35 years of dirt racing under his belt. He is the perfect person to give you the experience you want on your UTV trail ride.

There are many trips to choose from; all of which guarantee a good time. There are tours that take you through California, Arizona, Colorado and Moab, Utah. He has researched and explored trails from Mesquite to the Grand Canyon, Calico to Laughlin, Calico to Primm, Calico to Parker along with many others. On the Laughlin and Primm rides you can go gambling, and on the Grand Canyon ride you can jump in a helicopter and go down to the river. All of the tours are 2 to 3 days long, except for the Colorado tour which is 7 days long. Most all tours are between 300-500 miles long with about 125 miles covered each day.

The price for the tour includes food and lodging. The comfort of a hotel is available at some locations. For those of you that want to rough it, campgrounds are available also. Families, groups and clubs are encouraged to take the tour; there is a reduced price based on quantity.

A tour guide and sweep vehicle will accompany you on the trip to ensure for a safe time. Your tour guide will have radios for communication, and a GPS and Spot Tracker for emergencies.

There is a list of things that you will need to bring on your trip. In case of any problems with your UTV you will want to bring a spare tire, a tire plug kit, an air compressor and any other tools you may need. On the trail you will probably have to change your air filter at least once, if not everyday. Wally does help you inspect your equipment every morning before leaving for potential problems. You will also need to bring 10 gallons of extra gas.

In addition to vehicle supplies, a flashlight and weather gear such as a poncho should be packed for emergencies. A helmet is a requirement when in your UTV, and gloves, goggles, pants, good shoes and a jacket are all highly suggested. Just in case you get hungry throughout the day, you should pack a few snacks and drinks of your choice.

At the end of the trail ride you will be given the gift of a photo album to commemorate your adventure. It will be packed with pictures of you and your family or group throughout the trip. The guided trail rides are not for the faint of heart. They are a fun, challenging trip for those of you that love your UTV.
