Daystar at the LOORS Regional Off Road Series at Glen Helen

Daystar was out in full force at a pair of Regional Lucas Oil Off Road races this past weekend! Daystar’s Chris Doyle handled the ASCC race at Speedworld in Surprise, while Don McMillan headed for the rescheduled LOORS SoCal regional event at Glen Helen. Both races were an overwhelming success, with lots of local racers turning out to rub doors with fellow competitors in several truck, buggy, and UTV classes.

The LOORS Regional Series are a great way for racers to come out and put on a show for the fans without all the expense of the national racing series. These regional series run on the same tracks as the Nationals and also have points races that name a champion at the end. While the Regionals serve as a feeder for the Nationals, the Regionals have a more laid back atmosphere, where the racing is just as intense but the camaraderie is often more pronounced. There are usually whole families in the stands and in the pits, and they all share a love of racing.
