Chasing down 1965

Once again the town of Yerington, NV is hosting the VORRA Yerington 300. This year’s VORRA UTV class is the biggest in VORRA history with additional UTV race enthusiasts still joining.  The Yerington race is a total of 300 miles of grueling terrain consisting of stutter bumps, whoops, and plenty of fast smooth roads with spectacular views.

The UTV Class is broken out into two classes this year, the 800 and 1000 class  The points between drivers is always close, making this year’s UTV series win, anyone’s game.  The current points for the 800 class put Jean in first place and Willing following behind in a close 2nd. The current 1000 class has Crowley in first place and Leard following right behind. With Yerington being the first desert course of the season, we will see how these machines hold up against the grueling Nevada desert.

With the classic Yerington parade kicking off the events over Memorial weekend, this is one desert race that is sure to bring enjoyment for the entire family. For more information on the VORRA series, visit www.vorra.net.
