The Lone Kid Racing Gator Rolls On Down To The Colorado River

| October 14, 2011

This weekend the BITD Blue Water Desert Challenge  takes place in Parker AZ with two days of racing action.

After this short break in racing the Lone Kid racing team completely went through the fuel system after the troubles we had at the Vegas to Reno race. We are looking forward to a good solid finish in this sprint style race consisting  of three 27 mile laps on each day. The track has a little bit of everything  from sand washes, silt beds, whooped out roads, tight technical and some high speed sections of the course. We are looking forward to trying out some of those new high speed sections cause with the complete prep of the Gator 825i ,we did a gear change giving us a 10mph gain on the top end and seems to pull harder through the whole RPM range than before. We all like to be able to go a little faster!

First thing Friday morning is technical inspection and contingency we will be set up at the FAST-aid booth  www.fast-aid.org helping them raise funds for injured racers and supporting our sponsors. Then on Saturday and Sunday we will be the first group off the line starting on the front row with our second draw spot. So we hope to see everyone out there if not you can always track the race at www.racetheworld.net.

As we could not do this without all the help of our sponsors and letting us prove their products out in the toughest environment. A big thanks goes out to: Lone Kid racing Sponsors FOX Shoxs, GBC motorsports,Rigid Industries, Ringers Gloves, MSD Ignition,Azunia Tequila, www.UTVUNDERGROUND.COM,Dirtbagz, Fatography,DMH Supply,Simpson, Off Road Press
