| November 9, 2012

BoD_Elected_2012(LAS VEGAS, NV) — The BlueRibbon Coalition is proud to announce the results of the recent BRC Board of Directors Election, which saw the re-election or election of four candidates to positions on the BRC Board of Directors.

Re-elected to the BRC Board of Directors is Joni Mogstad, who currently serves as our President. The three new candidates elected to the board are Chad Booth, Kevin Carey and Dan Thomas. The BlueRibbon Coalition would like everyone to join them in welcoming these fine new board members. Each of them brings a number of outstanding assets to the recreational access table, and we look forward to working with them as they assume their new positions at the onset of 2013.

BRC would also like to thank all those who participated in the election and submitted their vote. This year’s election–along with the BRC General Membership Meeting itself–went off without a hitch primarily due to the input of these dedicated participants!

The final tally of election results was tabulated at the BRC General Membership Meeting on October 27, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada. All votes were gathered from members in good standing, and were tabulated on location, online, via absentee ballot, or via proxy vote. The rules and standards used in the election, as well as those of the Board of Directors itself, are outlined in the Bylaws of the BlueRibbon Coalition, Inc.

The BlueRibbon Coalition is a national recreation group that champions responsible recreation, and encourages individual environmental stewardship. With members in all 50 states, BRC is focused on building enthusiast involvement with organizational efforts through membership, outreach, education, and collaboration among recreationists. 1-800-BLUERIB – http://www.sharetrails.org.
