Presser header 1111LetzRoll Offroad Racing is the first major racing team to have cars in all three classes of the Ultra4 and Dirt Riot series, including two 2012 Dirt Riot National Championships, as well as a racing team in Europe.    The distinctive yellow and black ESAB Welding / Yukon Gear and Axle #4493, driven by LetzRoll Offroad owner Andrew McLaughlin, finished in the top 20 of the grueling 2013 King of the Hammers Ultra4 race.  The #4511 of Alan Johnson and the #4634 of Matt Salyers are the current national points leaders in the Dirt Riot Pro-Modified and Pro-Stock classes, respectively.  See a feature video of the announcement here: http://youtu.be/9ZjvfA0ETEY

“LetzRoll’s going to England!” said Andrew McLaughlin, #4493 driver of record and owner of LetzRoll Offroad.  “I am more than happy to announce that LetzRoll Offroad Racing is going over the pond.  We are proud to be the first team to have not only all three classes covered in the Ultra 4 racing, but have a team covering Europe as well.  Mike and his team came out and spent some time with us out at the Hammers and we developed a great relationship… really good guys… they came to us and said they wanted to get more involved in the racing.  It’s going to be a win / win for everybody.  We are very proud to be there.  Anything we can do to support those guys, we look forward to it and to seeing them this summer at the King of the Valleys.”

Mike finished first in class at the AWDC Compsafari round 4 as well as a top 10 finish at the inaugural King of the Valleys race in 2012.  Mike’s been competing since he passed his driving test back in 2003 and quickly excelled in “winch challenges” and other off-road competitions.  Mike’s team consists of himself, his co-driver Paul Martin, and his crew chief, Colin Robertson… his father who got him into this whole mess in the first place.  Learn more in Mike’s “Meet the Driver” video: http://youtu.be/8ceAvVEdSfM
