Zakowski Motorsports Breast Cancer Fundraiser a Huge Success
Menasha, WI: Everyone at Zakowski Motorsports is pleased to announce that the annual breast cancer awareness fundraiser was a huge success for the 2013 season. Every season, the team sells breast cancer edition shirts with facts and comical quotes to raise money to be donated to Breast Cancer foundations, helping families affected by the disease. Last year a total of $7,500 was raised and dispersed to three foundations. For the 2013 season the ultimate goal was to raise $10,000 and needless to say, that number was crushed.
Once all the pennies were accounted for and generous donations totaled, the final amount raised by this seasons effort came to an astonishing $15,619!! That means that $3,904.75 is being donated to the following Breast Cancer foundations, the Spiering Cancer Foundation, Wisconsin; Pink Ribbon Riders, Michigan; Faith Alliance, Indiana and Breast Cancer Fund of Ohio.
In addition to the support of people buying a t-shirt, a bra, stickers, can koozies, beads, or someone just making a contribution, some amazing people need to be recognized for their support and generosity.

$750.00 – McGill Mafia – West Union, WV
$300.00 – Kristy Stumpf – Thirty One, Sherwood, WI
“This year was just an amazing year. We couldn’t believe how supportive everyone was to help this cause. We have been raising more and more every year but never thought it would get this big. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know how much donations help a family when struggling with the disease. We can’t thank everyone enough!” exclaimed Linda Zakowski.
Aside from the fundraiser, ZMS donated 70 shirts to Muddy Kotten out of New York, who was doing a fund raiser for a local women who had breast cancer. The shirts were sold by Kotten to raise money for their cause. Whether you have been affected by this disease or not, it is important to help out those in need because you never know when you might be the one in need. We cannot thank everyone who supported this fundraiser in some way, shape, or form enough. We will be back at it again next year with more new designs!
