AVT_1792PAYSON, UT (February 10, 2016) – The 2016 season of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series, an AMA National Championship, is set to begin on March 5th and 6th. Round 1 will be held at the Rodman Plantation in Palatka, FL. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is proud to announce their continuing sponsorships with GNCC throughout the series.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is the Feature/TV Sponsor for GNCC, helping to expand the broadcast reach of the series through NBCSN and Racer TV. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is also the official online retailer of GNCC racing, and sponsor of Round 11 – the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Mountaineer Run to be held on September 24th and 25th

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Race Gas Fast Track program is also back for 2016. Not only does it allow participants to skip out on lines during race registration with a simple pre-entry option, the Race Gas program also awards them with a $20 gift certificate to Rocky Mountain ATV/MC every time they register for a race.

“GNCC racers and families will be able to enjoy the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Race Gas program again this year. The money that these pre-entered riders receive goes a long way in their weekly race budget,” said Director Tim Cotter. “This program is a testament of the commitment that Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has to the GNCC Racing program, to the racers and to their families who participate.”

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is pleased to be able to support the KR4/FAR Arrive-N-Ride race team. All riders, both on the pro teams and those in the Arrive-N-Ride program, will be riding Husqvarna motorcycles ranging from 65cc to 450cc.

Former Pro Motocross racer and GNCC Champion Fred Andrews leads the team again into the 2016 season. Concerning the team, Andrews said, “We are really excited for this upcoming year. We have Thad Duvall returning as our XC1 Pro Class rider. With one win and multiple podium finishes in his rookie year with the RMATVMC KR4/FAR team, we’re looking forward to even more wins in 2016. We have also brought on Luke Parsons – an up and coming young rider from Florida – to the team for the XC2 class. He and Thad Duvall are training together, and both are hunting for podium finishes. Sarah Baldwin is back for the WXC class as well, and we are excited for her race season.”

“We are excited to continue our sponsorships with GNCC and the KR4/FAR Arrive-N-Ride team.” said Dan Thomas, CEO of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “We have deep roots in off-road racing, which is why we are happy to offer the Race Gas Program to all race participants. It’s our chance to lighten the load on racers and help them achieve their goals out on the track.”
